The Wiggle & Lift (The Base): Place the wand at the absolute root of your lashes, wiggle it horizontally back and forth to deposit volume at the base, and then comb it upward to the tips.

The Mirror Trick: Hold your mirror down at chin level and look down into it while applying; this stretches your eyelids out, gives you full access to the lash roots, and stops wet mascara from blinking onto your eyeshadow.

Vertical Coating (For Definition): Turn the mascara wand vertically and use the very tip of the brush to lightly coat your bottom lashes and separate the tiny inner-corner lashes without making a mess.

The Clean-Up Rule: If you accidentally get mascara on your skin, let it dry completely for two minutes. Then, flick it off effortlessly with a clean, dry spoolie brush or Q-tip—it will crumble right off without ruining your makeup.
