Bronzing powder sand

Always tap your brush before it touches your face to shake off excess pigment. It is infinitely easier to build up color slowly than it is to blend out a giant dark smudge!

The Brush: Use a large, fluffy powder brush or an angled bronzer brush. A brush that is too dense will deposit too much pigment and look muddy.

The Formula: If you are using a powder bronzer, make sure your face is set with a translucent powder first. Putting a powder bronzer directly on top of the wet foundation will cause it to grab and look patchy.

Instead of dusting it all over your face, sweep the brush in the shape of a “3” on one side of your face and an “E” on the other.

The Top of the “3” (Forehead): Start at the center of your forehead near the hairline and sweep the brush down along your temples.

The Middle of the “3” (Cheekbones): Sweep inward across your cheekbone (just above where you would place contour, or right on the apple if you want a sun-burnt look).

The Bottom of the “3” (Jawline): Bring the brush back out to the edge of your face and sweep it down along your jawline to add definition.
