To get the most out of your Faces & Faces soy wax candle, maximize its burn time, and ensure complete safety, please follow these essential care guidelines:

Before You Burn
Trim the Wick: Always trim the cotton wick to about 5mm (1/4 inch) before every single light. This prevents the flame from getting too large, eliminates black soot, and keeps your glass jar clean.

Check the Placement: Always place your candle on a stable, flat, and heat-resistant surface away from drafts, open windows, ceiling fans, or air currents.

During the Burn
The First Burn is Crucial: The first time you light your 200g candle, allow it to burn until the wax melts completely across to all edges of the glass jar. This prevents “tunneling” (where the wax burns down the center, leaving wasted wax on the sides) and ensures a longer lifespan for your candle.

Keep an Eye on It: Never leave a burning candle unattended. Always keep it within your sight, and make sure it is completely out of reach of children, pets, and flammable objects.

Max Burn Time: Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. This stops the glass jar from overheating and preserves the quality of the delicate perfume oils.

After You Burn
Extinguish Safely: Use a candle snuffer or gently blow out the flame. Never use water to extinguish a candle.

Seal with the Wooden Top: Wait until the soy wax has completely cooled and solidified before placing the signature wooden top back onto the glass jar. Sealing the jar between uses preserves the subtle perfume and keeps dust out of the wax.
